Joel D. Herring, President

Mr. Herring was raised in a Midwestern farming community located in the middle of North Dakota and farmed with his father for two years. He then went on to graduate from Quain and Ramstad Clinic, Bismarck & St. Johns Hospital, and Fargo North Dakota School of Radiologic Technology in affiliation with the University of Minnesota in September 1965.

Following completion of his technology degree and attaining credentials with American Registry of Radiologic Technology, (ARRT), Mr. Herring’s career has been focused in specialized areas of diagnostic medical imaging. In 1972 he was Co-founder of Diagnostic Medical Systems (DMS) in Fargo, North Dakota, selling his interests in DMS in 1987. After a short two-year retirement, he then moved to Nashville to again form a new medical imaging company. X-ray Services, Inc., now serves middle Tennessee’s medical community.

Joel has two children, Chad who lives in Rochester, Minnesota with his wife Dorene and Krista who lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her husband Ryan.

Gayle D. Fox, Vice president

Gayle’s current responsibilities with XRS include monthly financial and accounting analysis, general management consulting, as well as banking relations oversight.

Gayle was raised in northern Indiana, in a small farming community. Her background is in Finance, Management and Investments. She began her banking career with Centier Bank in Northwest Indiana and worked through various levels of management for 15 years. In 1995 she began working for Old National Bank in Terre Haute, Indiana and was promoted to several management positions, while earning her credentials as a Certified Financial Analyst. In 1998 Mark A. Clymer, MD recruited Gayle to become his Marketing and Coordinating Assistant in Terre Haute. In 2000, Dr. Clymer moved to Brentwood, Tennessee, to open a solo practice. Gayle continues to use her expertise by making day-to-day decisions, with regard to running and managing Dr. Clymer’s growing medical practice.

Gayle has two children, Marnie who lives in Hoffman Estates, Illinois with her husband Dave and two children, Emily & Abbigayle. Her son Cristin lives in Crown Point, Indiana with his two children, McKenah and David.

Jill M. Beatty, Corporate Secretary

Raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Jill moved to Nashville in 1984. Prior to her move, she worked in Public Relations for Upjohn Pharmaceuticals. Jill began a banking career with First American Bank in Nashville in 1988 and worked for them until their merger with AmSouth Bank in 2000. She joined X-Ray Services, Inc. in June of 2000 as office manager and billing coordinator. She continues to oversee staffing, office management and all customer billing responsibilities within X-Ray Services operations.

Jill lives in Nashville with her husband Patrick.
